National Pony Malta Mountain Biking Championship

The delegation from Antioquia won 19 out of the 29 medals contested in the competition held at the oil port, with the support of the Federación Colombiana de Ciclismo, the Comisión Nacional de Bicicross, the Liga de Santander, the Mayor’s Office and the Instituto de Deportes de Barrancabermeja, and the sponsorship of Bavaria through its brand Pony Malta.

The national event gathered 330 bikers together from the Bogotá, Antioquia, Magdalena, Atlántico, Cauca, Caldas, Tolima, Boyacá, Nariño, Risaralda, Cundinamarca, Quindío, Valle and Santander delegations. The National Championship reunited renowned stars, such as Mariana Pajón, Sergio Salazar, Carlos Mario Oquendo, Jonathan Villa, José Luis Díaz, Fabián Hernández, Cristian Jiménez, and Andrea Zuluaga.

Bavaria sponsors Colombian biking with Pony Malta at competitions where underage individuals participate, and Pilsen whenever individuals of legal age participate.
