Los Sabelotodos Cerveceros, a contest organized by Bavaria among its shopkeepers to strengthen knowledge of the brewing culture, reached the end. The last event took place at Pavilion 16 of Corferias, within the framework of the National Shopkeeper’s Day, with an enthusiastic audience of nearly 600 persons.

Finalists participated to obtain prizes worth 190 million, distributed as follows: 40 prizes of two million pesos (for those ranked in positions 11 to 50), eight $5 million prizes (for those ranked in positions 3 to 10), one 20 million pesos prize (for the second position) and a major prize of $50 million for the winner.

Carlos Alberto Castillo is the owner of El Rinconcito at the neighbourhood called El Remanso in Bogotá; establishment that he attends with his mother for eight years now. “I really wanted to win this prize, but I never imagined that I would actually make it. I am very happy and I am very grateful to God”, expressed the winner.
