As part of its Social Responsibility initiatives, the Company launched in October the program Oportunidades Bavaria – Apoyo Educativo para Hijos de Tenderos, which will provide access to technical education to 1,000 students in 2010 and 3,000 more in the upcoming years.
Through this activity, focused on the siblings of retailers in socioeconomic levels 1 and 2, Bavaria will sponsor up to 80% of the registration fee cost, prior compliance of a series of requirements and submittal of documentation required.
The students who receive the benefits of the program will require no co-debtor and are not obliged to pay interests for the money they receive as support. Likewise, they will have the possibility to pay once they get a job.
The detailed information of Oportunidades Bavaria – Apoyo Educativo para Hijos de Tenderos was published in the edition of the Don Próspero Magazine issued in October. It explains the fact that candidates to such support must follow the whole process through Bavaria’s web page.
Oportunidades Bavaria – Apoyo Educativo para Hijos de Tenderos will be administered by Lumni - a firm specialized in design and administration of human capital investment funds for high potential and low revenue students.
